Can't Get My CREALITY ENDER-3 S1 PRO 3D Printer To Work NO MATTER WHAT I DO!

This particular piece is something I carefully crafted and uploaded as a video on my YouTube channel last year, where I not only shared my creative process but also the detailed journey behind bringing this project to life. As I am currently in the exciting process of revamping my website from the ground up to greatly enhance user experience, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to share this project with you, hoping you might find it both useful and genuinely inspiring in your own creative endeavours. The impressive 3D printer I utilised for the project was from the well-regarded brand CREALITY, and the specific model I enthusiastically worked with was the ENDER-3 S1 Pro, which has made a remarkable difference in the overall quality of my prints and has truly elevated my creative output.

I'm really struggling to get my CREALITY ENDER-3 S1 PRO 3D printer to work properly, and to be completely honest, it feels like no matter what I do or how many adjustments I try, nothing seems to make any significant difference at all! It's becoming quite frustrating and disheartening, especially since I genuinely want to witness it in action and start enjoying the wonderful world of 3D printing.

Bear in mind, I no longer possess the ENDER-3 S1 Pro 3D Printer anymore, primarily due to the countless and persistent issues I was experiencing with it over time, which ultimately led to my decision to part ways with it. Therefore, this post is mainly dedicated to sharing my thoughts, insights, and the considerable frustration I went through during that particularly challenging and often exasperating period. As I mentioned earlier, I truly hope that the content presented here will prove to be not only useful for you in your own journey but also offer you reassurance and comfort that you are certainly not the only person encountering the same challenges and struggles with your own 3D Printer.

I bought the printer with the hope of keeping myself busy and engaged in creative projects, as I find that due to my disabilities, I do not do much these days and often feel a bit isolated. However, my experience quickly turned into a daunting nightmare, and it became painfully apparent that my previous experiences with 3D printing were more negative than any positive enjoyment. While I can't completely place the blame on the printer for the difficulties I've encountered, I do hold myself accountable to some degree for my struggles in navigating this technology. Therefore, if you are new to the vast world of 3D printing, I would strongly urge you to consider starting with a less complicated model in order to effectively sharpen your skills and gradually build your confidence before deciding to invest in a more advanced Pro version or something similar. It’s worth noting, based on my limited knowledge and experience, that the Ender series is one that often requires frequent manual calibration and adjustments, as opposed to the more automatic features and user-friendly design found in other models, such as the K1 Series (K1, K1 Max, K1C).

So, once I finally got my eager hands on the highly anticipated printer, I was absolutely thrilled and excited beyond measure to embark on the journey of printing some very basic products. However, after a while of experimenting, I quickly realized that it was becoming overwhelmingly challenging for me to keep constantly calibrating and trying to manage all the various issues that unfortunately arose. It turns out that you have to save your model onto a memory card in order to get that specific model to print properly on your particular printer. In an effort to try and resolve these persistent issues, I decided to invest in Creality’s Sonic Pad. Unfortunately, after some time using it, I discovered that it was one of the worst decisions I had made, as operating this device can be quite intense and challenging, often leaving me more frustrated than fulfilled. Therefore, I would highly recommend checking out the following YouTuber, who I found to be extremely knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to Sonic Pad and its operations in great detail.

I attempted to print directly from the printer itself, but unfortunately, I was facing multiple frustrating and complicated problems along the way that seemed to arise one after another. After thoroughly watching a variety of informative tutorial videos and seeking valuable advice from the knowledgeable and supportive Creality Customer Service Team, I ultimately made the decision to try levelling the hot bed manually at least six times, in addition to utilising the auto levelling mode; yet despite all my persistent efforts, it still didn’t yield any successful or satisfactory results.

They kindly advised me, “If you are using BL/CR-touch, please lower the Z Offset from the screen as it will go down all the way. You don’t have to worry about the 'Z Endstop' at all.” The Link (1) is mentioned below for further assistance if needed. Then, they suggested that I “add some adhesive, like hairspray or glue, on the plate and see if it adheres better.” Furthermore, they recommended that I seriously consider downloading and installing their latest firmware for the product, as mine was running the outdated code F401 on the motherboard, which may have contributed significantly to my ongoing issues. I then decided to purchase their highly anticipated Sonic Pad, feeling excited and eager to explore its impressive capabilities. I changed out two different 1.75mm PLA filaments and experimented with a wide variety of settings, but as you will see in the video shared on YouTube, the results were not at all what I had initially hoped for. Ultimately, the bottom line is that I tried two distinct PLA filaments and meticulously tested the process both with and without utilizing the Sonic Pad by Creality. In my dedication to achieving the best results, I manually leveled the printer at least six times and utilised the auto levelling mode four times. Despite my persistent efforts, I am feeling quite frustrated, having spent countless hours trying to resolve this issue, often with valuable assistance from the Customer Services Team and resources on YouTube.

At the end of my somewhat long and winding journey with that Printer, I ultimately returned the Printer after a thorough and detailed exchange of thoughts with the amazing team at CREALITY, going back and forth multiple times to address each of my concerns. They were incredibly kind and prompt in processing a full refund for me, which I truly appreciated and felt relieved to receive. After much consideration, I eventually made the decision to purchase their innovative “K1C” model instead, and I’m really hoping that I don’t have to go through the same frustrating process all over again with this new purchase. Although there was indeed an issue with the initial Printer, I must say that the brilliant Customer Support Team at CREALITY is doing everything they can to assist me through this challenging situation and ensure my satisfaction. I will certainly keep you all updated about my experiences and provide a comprehensive Review when I finally get round to it.
